School Magazine
Editor's Note
Hey Everyone,
Greetings from the Editorial Team.
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome you to the very first issue of our very own school magazine – The Cambridge Times. This is not just a magazine but a space where curiosity meets creativity. The magazine aims to provide you with a digital space to share your creativity or to provide you with opportunities to put on your journalist hats to do your own research. With the introduction of this magazine we not only aim to bridge the gap between various grades but also between the current and the previous student body. Whether you are a bookworm, a science enthusiast, a puzzle lover, or simply someone who enjoys a good read, there is something to intrigue you within the following pages.
What all might pique your interest?
First up is our Students’ Creative Corner — the heart and soul of this magazine. From poems and short stories to artwork, this section will proudly broadcast any as well as every single creative thought of yours. If you have ever had a thought worth sharing or a story waiting to be told, this is where it belongs.
Next, don’t miss the Campus Buzz, your school’s very own news channel! Here you will find news about exciting school events, activities or experiments being done in and outside the classroom, club updates, student’s achievements — if it’s happening on campus, you’ll find it right here.
For all the young scientists and curious minds among us, in the Science and Discovery section, we bring to you news about the latest and most fascinating breakthroughs from around the world — and to try to explain in a simple yet engaging manner. Get ready to have your mind blown!
And because learning should always be fun, we have packed in a section full of Games and Puzzles — riddles, crosswords, brain teasers, and more. Perfect for a quick break or a friendly competition with your classmates!
Now, here’s the exciting part — we need YOU. Not only we need regular submissions of your reactive endeavours from you but will also need you to get actively involved with the magazine as ‘Student Coordinators” Your participation is what will make this magazine truly special.
We warmly invite every single one of you to contribute your work, share your ideas, and send in your feedback. Do you have a poem collecting dust in your notebook? Submit it! Did you find a science fact that blew your mind? Write about it! Spotted something cool around the campus? Talk about it. Took part in a competition on the school’s behalf? Let us know!
So dive in, explore every page, and enjoy every word. Here’s to the first of many wonderful issues together.
Happy Reading!
